The fee to request a letter of good standing is $25 per letter.
The fee to request a review of an application decision is $250 per request.
Registrants who practice dental hygiene with a suspended, cancelled, or otherwise invalid practice permit may be subject to a misconduct levy. This levy is a minimum of $1,000.
Dental hygienists are required to apply for a renewed practice permit through the ACDH renewal process prior to October 31st every year.
An application for renewal that is initially submitted to the College after 11:59 pm on October 14th will be subject to an administrative fee. An application for renewal that is not completed and approved by the College by 11:59 pm on October 31st will be subject to a 20% late fee.
Practicing dental hygiene in Alberta without a valid practice permit is considered unprofessional conduct and may result in an misconduct levy.
