Dental Hygienists Included in Phase 2C of COVID-19 Vaccine Program

Earlier this week, the Government of Alberta announced that health care workers as outlined in Phase 2C of Alberta’s COVID-19 Immunization Program are now eligible to book their immunization appointments through Alberta Health Services or their local pharmacy. Dental Hygienists are included in this list.
Healthcare workers are required to bring the following to their vaccine appointment:
- Proof of eligibility, such as personal ID that shows birthdate
- Proof of employment or professional registration, such as picture of practice permit, employee ID card, or letter of employment
